Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to love Lunary. This policy explains how cancellations, renewals, and refunds work for subscriptions and one-time purchases made through Stellar Consulting X LLC. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Free tier & free trial
You can try Lunary at no cost. Our free tier and free trial let you experience the Service before paying. If you start a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period, and you can cancel anytime before it ends to avoid being charged. We encourage you to use the trial to make sure Lunary is right for your family.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel:
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period;
- You keep access to your paid plan until the end of the period you already paid for — we do not cut off access immediately;
- After the period ends, your account moves to the free tier.
3. Subscription refunds
Lunary is a digital service that incurs real costs each time a story and its illustrations are generated. Because of this:
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and for periods during which you did not use the Service.
- Renewals. Paid plans renew automatically. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date. As a courtesy, if you were charged for an annual renewal and contact us within 7 days of that charge and have not generated stories during the new term, we will consider a refund of that renewal in good faith.
- Billing errors. If you believe you were charged in error or charged more than once, contact us and we will investigate and correct genuine errors.
4. One-time purchases (PDF export credits)
PDF export credits are one-time purchases. Once a credit has been used to generate and download a PDF, that credit is non-refundable because the service has been delivered. Unused credits may be eligible for a refund within 14 daysof purchase if you contact us — reach out and we’ll help.
5. Gift subscriptions
- A gift subscription may be refunded to the buyer within 14 days of purchase only if it has not yet been redeemed by the recipient.
- Once redeemed, a gift subscription grants a fixed one-year term, does not auto-renew, and is non-refundable.
6. How to request a refund
Email lunarychildrenstories@gmail.com from the address on your account, including your name, the approximate date of the charge, and a brief explanation. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe; depending on your bank, it may take several business days for the funds to appear.
7. Chargebacks
If you have any billing concern, please contact us first — we’re happy to help and can usually resolve issues faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and changes apply to purchases made after the update.
